We stayed for new years and had a blast. The bartender was wonderful and room service the next morning was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay one more night. The hotel is within walking distance to some very good restaurants and we felt safe walking the two blocks. Not always the case in some big cities.
2nd time I've attended a private NYE event here and couldn't of been more pleased. Actually stayed Saturday thru New Year's Day for both parties. Bartender was great! Loved the room. Staff took care of everything we needed. Will keep coming back!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed out NYE stay. Other than a wait for luggage cats, to be expected on a holiday with a major sports event in town, the check in process was smooth as silk! The lobby was packed layer in the evening but Wendy at the bar was friendly, helpful, and made you feel as if she's known you for years and you are her#1 customer! Great experience!
We spent the night at this wonderful property for NYE and enjoyed a delicious meal on the outdoor heated patio by the water. The service and facilities are top notch. Plenty of safe, well-lit parking in their covered parking garage. Also lots of fine dining options and other attractions nearby. The lake area has concrete walking paths as well. Overall 5 stars.
We were guests for my wife birthday on New Years Eve week. The staff to real good care of us and the venue was mid to upper tier for Marriott’s standards. We will definitely come back and stay. We met a lot of nice people there as well. There was a party there mid week. It was cool seeing all the lights coming from the upper floor windows. Looked like a disco, lol. Enjoy your stay and ask for a late check out! Thank you Marriott staff!
As a very seasoned traveler that works in the Hospitality industry I do not leave many reviews. I have stayed at this location at least twice a year usually during the holidays. The hotel staff is always wonderfull, The location is great offering great views and is centrally located. The hotel does host events from time to time and will get really busy but the staff always handles it very well. My worst experience at this property was the teenage girl volleyball tournament pressing all the buttons in the elevators.
We stayed here on New Years Eve and everything was perfect. They must have had a New Years event going on because the lobby was full of people dressed very elegantly. The staff was quick getting us checked in and everybody was so polite. Will definitely be back.
I instantly loved this location! I was checking in for NYE and the front desk was fully staffed, every single one of them said Hi is some sort of fashion. One saw my purse and we all went into a Disney frenzy over it lol. The property was clean and looked so nice. I’ve been intentionally only staying at the Marriott and this location reminded me why. Housekeeping staff was super nice and quick on getting me the extra towels I asked for. Checking in and out was a breeze, parking wasn’t bad at all after check in time either. Would recommend this location!
